tools are available?
CLIMATE DATA
High resolution global climate data are available available from the Climatic Research Unit in Norwich, UK. Here we provide a tool for extracting site-based readings from this data. Link. Data for Australian weather stations can also be obtained directly from the Australian Bureau of Meterology.
SMATR
Software that implements recent statistical advances for estimating
relationships between two variables such as the Standardized Major
Axis SMA, and in particular, for testing two or more SMA fits for
differences in slope or elevation. In brief, (S)MATR permits the logic
of ANCOVA for allometric relationships. Link
PHYLOMATIC
Software that takes species lists of angiosperms and constructs the
phylogenetic tree for them, using state-of-knowledge angiosperm phylogeny.
The resulting trees can be used directly in PHYLOCOM
or other programs that calculate evolutionary divergences in traits.

R
A free software environment for statistical computing and graphics,
with many routines available online. Link
MORPHO
Easy-to-use data management software. Use it to create, view and manipulate
your own datasets, and specify access control to manage their availability,
or query, view, retrieve and manipulate ecological data from the KNB
network.Links
