What are Research Courses?
Research courses are always open to HDR, and usually open to interested researchers and ECR also. For further information on attending any of the courses listed below, email vegadmin@bio.mq.edu.au.
Research courses arise in different ways. Some are programmed in association with conferences. Some focus on specific skills. Some arise in association with the Network's working groups. The first day of the first meeting of many working groups consists of short presentations by each of the participants. These presentations summarize the research challenges in the topic of the working group, from the perspective of each participant. This gives an opportunity to hear a cross-section of interesting researchers, and to talk with them individually during coffee and lunch breaks.
